Minutes of the Llangynidr Community Council HR Committee Meeting held on Tuesday 12th November 2024 at 6.15pm.

 

Present: Mr Harry Duff, Mrs Beth Carpenter and Mr David Mantle (Chair).

Attending:Ms Sue Dale (Clerk).

 

 

1. To elect a chairman of the meeting.

DM was elected.

 

2. Apologies:

None

 

3. Declaration of interest in items of business listed below:

None

 

4. Exclusion of the public as publicity would prejudice the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted (Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings Act 1960)).

Approved.

 

5. To interview applicants for the Clerk's role.

There were 3 applicants interviewed.

 

6. To discuss applicant's suitability for the role, decide which applicants are suitable for the post and from those suitable, select the most suitable for the role. It is possible that neither candidate will be found suitable.

 

The three candidates were all suitable but one was found to be most suitable, she was selected.

The clerk to investigate which technology (Lap-top, mobile phone and possibly printer) the successful applicant prefers and acquire them within budget.

 

The chairperson closed the meeting.
