MINUTES OF AN EXTRAORDINARY COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY 14th AUGUST 2024 AT 6.30PM VIA ELECTRONIC MEDIA AND AT THE VILLAGE HALL.

There is a litter pick on Saturday 17th litter pick starting 10.45am in the car park.
In the last 4 to 6 weeks, after 11pm at night cars race down Forge Road then on to Cwm Crawnon Road. Residents are loosing sleep.
A black VW golf, with 3 hooded occupants approach farm buildings and then leave. The registration number will be sought.
The parking area on Coed-yr-ynys Road is not appropriate for larger cars, their boots stick out into the road causing a problem to passing traffic. September agenda item.
New seating for Cae Porth progresses. The seats should arrive on 20th August and the slabs on 29th/30th August.
The bridge will get a strim from a volunteer councillor soon.
Dogs should be kept on a lead near traffic.
The lights on the riverbridge are not working at the moment (up to Tuesday 13th) It seems that drivers are more courteous at the moment this is being monitored.
There is road surface is degraded near the pinch points on the Llangynidr side. There is a deep pot hole there.
The dog bins are not sorted yet.
Green Man Festival starts Thursday 15th August, many thanks to the people who distributed the bridge passes to residents. The Community Council has had some positive feed back about it.
